Bhit Shah, Hyderabad, Sind (The Bhitshah Cultural Center includes a muesum and cultural center) is located in Bhit, a small town in the province of Sindh. Bhitshah Cultural Museum was founded in 1962. Bhit Shah Cultural Museum commemorates the work and memories of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, the famous Sufi saint and scholar. He is one of the famous poets of Sindhi Language.

Bhit Shah Cultural Museum is located in the city of Hyderabad. The museum displays the works and artifacts related to the life of the Sufi poet Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. The tomb of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai lies 48 kilometer northwest to Hyderabad. The complex has a museum, a library and a conference hall.

After exploring the Bhit Shah Cultural Museum visit the other sites of interest in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad Fort is worth a visit. This fort was built in the year 1768. Visit the Shaikh Makai Fort which was built by Ghulam Shah Kalhora with aim of protection of the monuments of Shaikh Syed Muhammad Makai, a Sindhi saint. Tombs of Ghulam Nabi Kalhora and Ghulam Shah Kalhora are the other Kalhora monuments. You can also visit the tombs of the Talpur rulers in the city.

Visit the Municipal Garden and Zoo located in Tandi Sarak. There is a sports stadium and an open air theatre in the garden. The ‘badgirs’ or “wind catchers’ are a unique feature of the city. These structures help retain the coolness in the house during summer months.
