Getting to Pakistan

In the recent decades, the number of visitors coming to Pakistan have increased significantly as the country is on the verge of some commendable economic developments. With the up-gradation in the transportation system, getting into Pakistan by air, sea or road has become much more easy. Pakistan has got some of the busiest airports in Asia. The Jinnah International Airport also known as the Quaid-e-Azam International airport in Karachi is regarded as one of the most busiest airports in Pakistan.

Most of the important cities of various countries are connected through numerous flights. A host of major airline carriers operate their international flights from the various airports located in the major cities in Pakistan, like- Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta and many more.

Getting to Pakistan by sea is possible through its well maintained ports. Karachi comes with two of the most busiest ports in Pakistan . Although now a days, tourists rarely travel by sea, but these ports serve as major entrance for the cargo trawlers. Port of Karachi located on the western coast witnesses the operation of numerous ships coming from various parts of the world. Port Qasim located in the eastern coast of Karachi even comes with high quality facilities. The Gwadar port is also one of the busiest ports in Pakistan located in the province of Balochistan. The operation in this port is managed by the PSA Singapore.

Getting to Pakistan by road is also possible through India and Afghanistan. You can come to this country from India by boarding on a bus from Srinagar in India to Muzaffarabad in Pakistan. Pakistan has come up with an extensive network of national highways that connect to every part of the country. Almost all of its major cities, like- Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Peshawar etc. are connected with high quality roads.
