In the year 2007 Broghil festival was held on the picturesque valley of Qarumbar.

One of the major part of the Broghil festival is the yak race which is typical of this festival. To make the event more interesting the yak race in Broghil festival is organized at a height of 13000ft above the sea level. People from many parts of the world come to this festival and have a lifetime memorable experience. The high altitude of the place makes people call it the 'roof of the world'.
